They start doing that after awhile...first creep by very slowly, but as they warm up, towards the end, they sort of race by, the years...
I read an essay once where a guy intended to prove that as we aged, time literally went faster than it did when we were young.
It sounded pretty convincing until the thought came: How can that be, since old and young occupy the same time?
Well, it WAS well written...
