We are
not recovering from this c-c-c-c-cold. Went to head out early yesterday afternoon and the car started sliding on our almost level driveway. Investigating I nearly slipped and fell several times. Investigating further I saw that one of our neighbors had had a bad morning -- their car started sliding in front of our house, they slammed on the brakes, and plowed a path down the road into the rain catchbasin, bouncing off some big rocks on the way (and leaving parts of the car behind).
LoM's heavier SUV got out and back okay, but the Redmond roads were a shocking mess. No money for roads, I guess.
A lot of our parish are snowbound. We usually decorate the church for Christmas on the 4th Sunday of Advent, but only 3 families made it Sunday (one walked to church).
It's below freezing right now, and the forecast for tonight says snow.
