None of us are. We are three-dimensional creatures, with aspirations and expectations that help to elevate us, and desires and appetites that keep us close to basic things.
Normally we shield those more private aspects of our personalities, even from those closest to us. As we navigate our life's passage, the crests give us vision, and the troughs of the waves keep us humble.
The shortest distance may be from A to B, but we always manage a Jeffy-stroll to get there.
