I don’t know what you build in your shop, but you could make your own windplant.
People think the blade has to be something special. Couldn’t be simpler.
That's pretty much the kind of setting I had envisioned for my book.
The "Great House" was three levels. Bedrooms on the top, with an interior great room which was the focus of the house. That opened to a large courtyard surrounded by fruit trees.
The next level down was the pool area. It had skylights and vegetation, and it opened out to a downslope entry area.
Beyond the gates, the countryside was open and inviting, with rolling meadows, stands of wood, and fields under cultivation.
All of the action took place between the characters, but the setting was serene.
