I survived Girl Scouts, again. My nice girls came :-), and one of their nice moms.
And my treasurer gave me the bank statement: we have money! The girls wanted to go to the indoor waterpark, and we can easily afford that (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Parks faciliy) and then take them out to dinner or something.

You ARE a survivor! God appreciates your efforts to help those girls be all they can be. You never know what difference one phrase or statement can make in the life of someone else.
Give yourself a Smiley Face and a HUGH Gold Star!

To be fair, the girl whose mother flaked out was nice, too. I’d be happy to have her in the troop (even with the mother).
I’m going to give myself a glass of wine and a few pretzels, after I put my shoes away.

So how’s the wine and pretzels?
Are you relaxed, now?

I’m having the wine now, and I had french fries instead of pretzels.

I like traitor taters with ranch dip.
I have some sweet potato fries that I’m dying to cook up. They are SO addictive! (honey mustard dip on those!)

Don't think I've ever tried that.
What an afternoon. After doing all the ToDos, I did all the CouldDos, and almost as much volunteered to write an article for a journal.
Now there's little to do but plow through the many months' stack of unread trade journals. Guess I should enjoy it because it won't last long...

I don’t like ranch dip or dressing or flavoring. We had some ranch flavored Doritos at the meeting today, and the smell was icky. (We also had cookies.) I sent all the leftovers home with a girl from a family of 5 children whose father is an ultra-Calvinist Presbyterian minister. Figured they needed snacks most :-).

Smoke bad. And there is no need to water your monitor. It will not grow and bigger.
