Do yourself a huge favor and buy a pre-assembled rifle from a tier one mfg (Colt, Bushmaster, Rock River Arms) and get a flat top.

For the money, I went with Stag Arms. Dependable and rock solid. Shop around, Resellers are usually cheaper than the Stag Arms website. They're back ordered like crazy.
