“John McCain’s speech last night was wonderful. I think that if he had held that tone throughout the campaign, he would have won last night. I disagree with him on so many things, yet I still respect him and believe that he is a patriot. This from someone who is disappointed because Obama is too conservative for my taste.”
So I am highlighting your words. What EXACTY was it about McCain’s speech last night that makes you FEEL like he would have won.... and don’t give me the standard bullcrap that he was too negative and that turned people against him, b/c that is simply not the case.
2ndly, spell out EXACTLY HOW you think Obama is too conservative for YOUR taste as you put it.... don’t give me the typical liberal mantra of open-ended questions that seem to go in circles like a dog chasing its own tail.....

He was respectful; you can say that your opponent is wrong, but to accuse them of being "anti-American" is unnecessarily divisive, and we've had too much of that for too long. Last night, McCain showed his better nature and urged reconciliation to face the problems ahead. We need more of that.

I want single payer universal health care, complete withdrawal from Iraq, reversal of the Patriot Act, free college tuition for all citizens, gas mileage standards for cars (and banning fuel-ethanol), ending the war on drugs... let's just say that I got kicked off of DU for being too much of a hippy.
