Barack Obama is MY President

After George W. Bush defeated Al Gore, and later John Kerry, for the presidency, countless Democrat-owned cars bore bumper stickers with clever phrases like 'Not My President' or 'Don't Blame Me I Voted for Kerry'.

As a conservative evangelical Christian who voted for McCain-Palin, and for every other Republican on the ballot yesterday, let me say for the record: Barack Obama is my president.

I stayed up past midnight to watch his victory speech. I wept (a little less than Jesse Jackson) because the moment stirred me with gratitude for how God has thus far corrected America's most crippling birth defect -- racist discrimination.

I take my president-elect at his word when he says to those who didn't vote for him: "I hear your voices, I need your help, and I will be your president too."

Mr. President, the best thing you can do for us is to lead a new generation to live out the American dream as you have. In other words, President Obama, I pray that your example will serve to create a wave of citizens whose lives follow your own storyline.

This would produce an America comprised of people who...

* can choose where to school their children (as your Mom chose private school for you), * work hard to achieve their goals, * dedicate themselves to lifelong learning, * marry persons of the opposite sex and remain faithful to them, * bear living children and bring them up in a two-parent home, * take advantage of free markets and their own skills to earn money, * negotiate their own compensation, * manage that money responsibly, * demonstrate a willingness to serve our nation.

Mr. President, while your official policy statements envision a nation very different from the one that produced your extraordinary success story, I know that you're still relatively new to civic life and you seem willing to learn. You strike me as a quick study, who can really make a difference when he sets his mind to it.

Leaders tend to attract people who are like them, and to inspire people to emulate them. Sometimes it's hard to recognize the factors that have shaped our own existence. Take a moment to consider how your life exemplifies the principles that have made this nation great.

What we need now is not policies to implement your stated ideology. We need for you to recognize the true power behind your own inspiring story.

“Get ready for the fights to come and pay these mfers back, measure for measure for 8 years of hate and discontent. I will extend to them every courtesy that they extended to us. Dirtbag traitors.”

I’m with you.

So long as you liver here he is you President. Whether you like that is another story.

Further, you may wish to exercise your right to bear arms if in fact you believe the government abandons the constitution. You have that right guaranteed by the founders of this country who thought that to be proper. I warn you though, your interpretation of the government abandoning the constitution, squashing your freedoms and rights, and subjugating her people under a fascist rule should be agreed to by a major portion of the country's populous before you exercise that right. If you do not, your apt to lose your life.

There’s one of the first Rino’s that can go pound sand with 0bama. I know I’m down, but not out. At least now we know who our true friends are, and who were on the bandwagon. I say we start a “fair-weather-rino” list, to keep track of these backstabbers.

I feel ashamed of NM, but I know we can take it all back. I’m starting today. Get to your local GOP office and start working for ‘10 and ‘12. We have to start getting money together, because campaign finance can go to hell.

Then we fight.

Wasting our time crying and whining isn’t going to do any good and is no better than the Kerry supporters.

Pick ourselves up and fight on.

Yup.

‘What we need is some politician with enough balls to say “F—k you” to the democrats when they call for bipartisanship.’

No, what we need a politician who can *effectively* oppose the Dems by explaining to the public what is wrong with their policies. Rush Limbaugh for Senate!

I sent a message to the Presidential prayer team to take me off their list because I will NOT pray for this anti-Christ; he will NEVER be my president. He cheated to gain the presidency and he hates our country; plus he sanctions killing of babies.

The Evil One may be YOUR president, but not mine.

“Better than DU”? It's nearly impossible to not be better than DU. This man and his cult followers called every one who dare ask him a question about his policies a racist. They snooped around in the Palin family garbage and cost a plumber his job. This man listened and gave money to a “reverend” that spewed hatred towards America for 20 years. This man cozied up to domestic terrorists and the likes of Rezko. This fraud will NEVER be my president BECAUSE I am better than DU.

You are a fool. You are part of the reason he won. You take him at his word. How many clips do you have to see when he says one thing and than later the opposite? Sorry, he is not my President and when I refer to him I will refer to him as President Hussein.

He is the most liberal senator, and yes, he has socialistic views to a degree.

You know what though, you could probably find quotes just as bad from most liberal Democrats.

Stop acting like this is the end of the world.

No problem! I feel the same exact way you do!! I am utterly disgusted and depressed that America elected a freakin’ muslim, with ties to terrorists, radicals and socialist, UN-American beliefs that he wants to change upon America. He is not a president I can or will support.

The ONLY comfort I have at this moment, is knowing it is all part of God’s plan and it’s in HIS hands. There is a reason for Obama being elected...and right now only God knows that reason.
