Too close for comfort.

yup, Coleman’s up by around 16K now..... looks like we should be able to avoid the Frankenstein monster..... one of the only bright spots in a dismal night.....
He wasn’t thrashed by a significant margin. He’ll be baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.
Local news here has slightly more updated numbers:
http://www.kare11.com/news/elections/races/results.aspx?raceID=2
I have 84% reporting. I’ll feel batter when it hits 93 or 94; leaving too few remaining uncounted votes for Franken to make up the difference.
Coleman’s up 16,048 by my math. 89.61% reporting.
wonder what the rules are in minn for a recount?
is there a certain percentage?
Good question, I’m not sure.
Dang you’re right. Think your site updates faster than mine. It’s almost over...
Coleman’s lead has increased to 17,500. 90% now in. Norm’s pulling away again.
700 vote difference at 89% reporting..which means a recount.
And here’s the link: http://electionresults.sos.state.mn.us/20081104/ElecRslts.asp?M=S&R=all&P=A&Races=%27%27
Minnesota Politic is my hobby. I know where they count 1st and where they count last. This is not Franken freindly terroitory they are waiting on the vote totals for now.
Sorry to rob your life of angst and drama but Franken being down 17,000+ with this little left to count here in MN makes it almost impossible for him to win now. The darkest blue parts of the state have all been counted.
Now it looks like it’s less than 200 votes.
Umm you made an error in your calculations. It almost 17,000 votes in Colmen’s favor

Are you following the right race? http://electionresults.sos.state.mn.us/20081104/ElecRslts.asp?M=S&R=all&P=A&Races=%27%27 This link shows Coleman ahead by 17,500 with 90% in.
Here are the offical numbers

I was using the ABC site and now the difference is about 1900 votes. It is changing by the minute.
I was looking at the linked ABC site.
Which is a bad place to be looking. Check out the offical numbers here. ABC is hours out of date
