I understand how your feel. But, we don’t pray for bad leaders or our enemies because they “deserve it” but because the Lord commands it. (Matthew 5:44, 1 Timothy 2:1-4)
I believe God greatly honors and rewards our obedience in doing things we really don’t want to do.
OK, how about this.
“Dear Lord, please don’t let That One destroy this great nation, Amen.”
