The only prayer I will say for him is that God changes his heart. But to pray for him would be to imply I am praying for his policies and views to become law of this land. And that I will never do. I do not pray harm upon the man. But I will not pray for a man who has made war against the preborn one of his top priorities. God would never forgive me that.

There’s no need to go that far. There’s that story about Balaam trying to make a curse that results each time into a blessing. I’d settle for that.
