I will be at the reference desk at the public library where I work, fielding calls from voters wanting to know the location of their polling place. One window on my computer will be open to the Drudge Report for election news, while my colleague, a Democrat, will likely have the CNN website up on her computer. Afterwards, I may attend a GOP election night party.

Staying sober and listening to the police scanner.

My mom lives a couple miles outside the hood. If there is any trouble, I’ve got plans to head over there to keep an eye on things. I hope nothing bad happens, but I’ve got to be prepared.

That’s what I forgot to buy. Where can I pick up a cheap scanner. Do they work in Ohio? When I was researching them, it said some police were switching the frequencies or something.

On one of the threads a few days ago someone was saying that a lot of the police have gone digital and their radios are scrambled so they can’t be picked up on scanners.

Hey I love Stella. Good price. Only problem with Stella is they cheat you on volume. 11.3 oz I think, compared to the usual 12 oz.
