Talk about seeing birds, I wish I had my camera when over a friend’s house a few days ago. There were five enormous male turkeys standing out on his freshly manicured back lawn, just standing there posing like royalty.

The neighborhood turkey was posed when I pulled in the drive this afternoon..He spends a lot of time on my patio..
I love having him in the neighborhood.

I made it to the store and had to go back just now..I decided to take a fruit salad and forgot the sour cream. My son was going to drive down , spend the night and we go back in the morning but I told him I could meet him in the morning at an outlet mall parking lot that is halfway..save him some driving. Someone can drive me back there Friday..I will leave my furry “not invisible” friends too much food and lots of water.(I’m a Taurus..LOL)

I had to go downtown today to get new car license tags..and I was late getting them..I went a new way..that took me back by the old historic home with beautiful grounds I explored in May.The home had red everblooming rose hedges that looked almost like azaleas in bloom betweem the long fence and the sidewalk..

I saw large lovely red, yellow and pink roses blooming in yards, too..There were some kind of fruit( I saw cherry like old fruit..but we don’t have cherry trees here that I know of) trees planted around the Records building that had gorgeous red foliage..so the trip down there wasn’t such a drag after all. Fall foliage is nice this year.
I must get my salad put together and get packing organized so I don’t forget something..
Hope you have a wonderful day..and a safe trip.
