Hi, Gee Bee! Well, I lied. Not that I intended to, mind you. I went to the market to buy a turkey breast - and the least expensive one was $16.00! So, I went to the freezer section where whole turkeys were on display. I ended up buying a ten pound turkey for $4.50! (And, I’ll make soup out of the dark meat!)

Then, pecan pies and minced meat pies were on sale for $4.99 each. Now, pecans, and minced meat in a jar would cost WAY over that, so I bought them, and with the $10.00 coupon (that I cut out of the paper), I got them for FREE!

I’ll go to sleep with a smile tonight - I just love a good buy!

Hi Yorkie
You did great shopping! Extra turkey for soup...Mmmm. :)

We all do one dish and meet at my parent's. I always have mashed potatoes. But there was no one for pies. So I picked up 2. Not near as good deal as you. I come to find out someone else in the family brought the pie. I wish I could donate them but they are Mrs. Smith's. Guess I'll save them for Christmas ;) I'm so silly.
