Can someone tell me why McCain is not buying prime time television? Why is Obama? Isn't the Republican Party able to buy/afford to purchase McCain's message for prime time?
Does anyone know?
Sort of angry about this. I think it will give Obama an unfair advantage.
Thoughts?
Because Hussein HAS to...
I think it’s called money.
You know, that ‘s the green stuff in your wallet.
The Ronco Self-Roasting Campaign.
I’m not the first to make this connection, but I’m just waiting for more people to see the massive contradiction between someone who says he has the answers to our current fiscal situation....by spending huge amounts of money to tell everyone how he’s going to solve this problem.
I know the standard line: tax-and-spend Democrats. But given our rapacious need to spend money we do not have and shove the cost to someone else, well, no wonder people want him.
DOn’t need to:
O’Reilly’s program tonight will be about what is floating around on the blogs......Hmmm, Acorn, Africa, Ayers, Birthcertific, films, API tapes,....That should take up the entire hour.
...and add fuel to H & C, Greta, and all the week end talk show.
Barack World Series Premption = Heidi Bowl
McCain is now very close despite being out-spent 10-1 or whatever. Even with a president polling around 25% and a very weak economy.
Obama has been so over-hyped I doubt very much that a grandiose 30 minute infomercial is going to do much. In fact might hurt, especially to baseball fans who no doubt have noticed Obama rooting for both teams.
It would not surprise me that McCain has something up his sleave to counter-attack this pompous fraud.
That’s exactly what I was thinking - this has as much potential to backfire on Obama as it does to help him. Left... right... one of the few things I like to think we still have in common is that NONE of us like to turn into a sporting event, only to be force-fed some blathering politician.
So why isn't the big "O" spreading the wealth around and paying for a McCain ad? If he has much than his opponent, why is he not required by law to give it to the other guy?
I was talking to my husband about this the other day and he feels that this will just give us more Obama “soundbites”.
He’s bound to say something that will backfire against him.
I'm sure more big money could be in our coffers, though Republicans traditionally depend on the middle class for dough.
As an aside: The main reason the media portrays bad polling numbers for a candidate is not to depress his voters but to depress his contributors. The media has been hard at work at that this election.
This is the first of soon-to-be, many state-run propaganda info-mercials - remember “A Clockwork Orange”? When Obambi is prez, we’ll be tied down and subjected to the state info on a weekly basis and be pleading, “...please! Not Ludwig van!!!...”.
I was just thinking the same thing, that is why I am going to not watch, but record it and then listen to It word for word and promise by promise. He is bound to shoot himself in the foot, he always does!
I think they cost him around $1 million - I’m not sure if that’s each, or all together. However, McCain doesn’t have the kind of money that Obama has, because they chose different options for their campaign finances, and the one McCain chose has some sort of cap on it.
In his promo last night, he said that he was going to expose the anti-obama right wing blogs.
Not me! I got about 15 great shows taped, so lots to pick from. Half hour is not much, but I suspect there will be hours of how good he was by the cult followers after the piece of crap. I'm ready.
I forgot to add: I don’t trust O’Reilly. I think he’s a closet Obama supporter.
could use your help geting the ayers commercial out.”
You GOT IT!
I’ve got an group email list of about 10 folks, and hope these 10 folks forward it onward.
A warrior at my desk, 9 to 5, Monday through Friday. Salary paid for by one of the MSM, btw.
I can't speak for ABC, but why would CNN air it for FREE when Obama is paying the major networks big bucks?
