Why is Obama running a 30 minute special and McCain is not?

Can someone tell me why McCain is not buying prime time television? Why is Obama? Isn't the Republican Party able to buy/afford to purchase McCain's message for prime time?

Does anyone know?

Sort of angry about this. I think it will give Obama an unfair advantage.

Thoughts?

I think if he interrupts the ball game we need to protest/boycott the station that is broadcasting the ball game! I he can stop TV stations from doing true interviews, the people ought to be able to voice their opinions also!

Only the diehards who are already committed (or is that should be committed?).

People are sick of the election, his viewers will be 100% composed of people who made up their mind to support him last year.

Stupid

I would take the money and spend it on ads in the few areas that will decide the eletion. So if he gets Californians, New Yorkers and New Jersey watch this he gains 0. He needs the battleground states.

It might be a huge error.

BO assumes that he is loved so much that he’s doing everyone a favor.

REmember that this has been planned for some time now. Obama is running this because he knew the MSM was perpetuating the fraud that he was actually ahead.

He is not ahead and he is bleeding voters.

This infomercial will not help him.

If the trends continue, McCain by 5%.

McCain did not take private financing; he is held to the public funds, and whatever the RNC takes in, and the 527s.

NRA has a good ad out here in PA.

Apparently half of America - according to the polls. There are a lot of stupid people out there. Those who have yet to decide who they are voting for will likely be influenced by Obama’s prime time message.

Sorry, but I don’t hold a lot of confidence in America. Just look at the polls. It is obvious that there are a lot of stupid people walking among us.

I wonder whether they will report his viewer ratings tomorrow. I doubt many will watch him anyway.

To answer your question, his illegal money supply from overseas allows him to spend on this crap.

Rumor is that slick willie will join him live, maybe hillary also?

The question should be asked, why a monologue when he hasn’t held a press conference in weeks?

Don’t watch it.

Surprisingly, ABC and CNN are not airing it; although they will most likely sample it afterwards.

About two weeks ago Sen. Shumer said if anyone or PAC gave to the GOP they would be punished.

Mafia protection money another wise. ( We will blow up your business if you give the GOP money)

Of course, since Obama believes in spreading the wealth, it’s only fair for him to give some of his campaign war chest to McCain!
