My nightmare is the just-in-time supply chain failing, due to inability to obtain credit, fuel supply disruption, terrorist attack or natural disaster. City dwellers picking through garbage until that’s gone, then raid the inner suburbs ... eventually it’s long pig time. Hopefully they’ll have killed each other off, before they ever get out my way. That’s my nightmare. I pray it’ll never come to that.

You do have some foresight. Yes, we're too urbanized, and products are shipped from too far away.
...funny. When people try to build their own places out in the middle of nowhere (but once where many people lived), fake environmentalist fronts for big developers start complaining about "sustainability" and "urban sprawl."
There's only one end to the pride in our leadership, so domestic competition is prevented in many ways.
