"The ducks are here for everyone, if you start taking them, everyone will," said one park-goer. And THAT my friends... is socialism...

normal people don’t keep ducks for pets, right? :P

When I was working many years ago at a university, we noticed that the geese were disappearing each week from a pond on campus. One weekend the cops noticed feathers on the ground near the shore of the pond and they followed the trail of feathers to the married housing building. Their noses lead them to the apartment of some chinese students who were cooking a goose. Yes, you might say that their goose was cooked.
They didn’t think anything was wrong with goosenapping even though it had been reported for several weeks on the radio and newspapers that the cops were on the lookout for the goosenappers. The chinese were found guilty of their fowl deeds and had to pay a hefty fine, and I think they were kicked out of the apartment the following semester by the university.

Not unless the duck is named Petunia and likes to watch tv.
Kindly remember ther was only one Petunia and she’s sadly gone to that great pond in the beyond, all that remain are just DUCKS.

Just what I was thinking. Did she grab the biggest one? Chinese know how to cook ducks better than anyone. Those big veggies they use with that sauce and rice are worth digging through to get to it.
There is a Mandarin Chinese restaurant a half mile from here that is superb. Classy and quiet discussion. Eat there and and you won't be hungry for a day. Drooling is allowed.

About 8 years ago, my ex-husband and I were driving down the road and saw an older Asian woman walking a seagull down the sidewalk by its wings. My ex-husband yelled at her to let the bird go and not to eat it (he’s not known for shyness or political correctness). She looked at us and started walking faster.

Next the socialists will arrest hunters for “stealing” wildlife. Doesn't someone have to own the ducks for theft to be possible? I can't see how the theft charge could stick. While the ducks are cute, having too many in a park makes a smelly mess. They should be considered pests like squirrels and rodents. Anyone that wants to take them should be free to. This is still America, land of the free.
