The "FAIRNESS DOCTRINE" is anything but fair. It seeks to shut down free speech and muzzle conservative-oriented broadcasting.
What name would you give the "FAIRNESS DOCTRINE" if you were to re-name it?
In other words, what title or name should legislators give this piece of legislation?

I like “The Censorship Doctrine”, but another option is “The 28th Amendment - repeal of the First Amendment Right to Freedom of Speech”. It would be nice for the Republicans to frame the “Fairness Doctrine” as a proposed law that is unconstitutional as written, because that’s true, and suggest that the Dem wording be considered as an amendment - explaining clearly why the Dem amendment should be rejected. The “Fairness Doctrine” is similar in legal significance to the 21st Amendment (Repeal of Prohibition), since it also repeals an amendment to the Constitution. The only unfortunate detail is that the Fairness Doctrine repeals the legal protections for our second most important God-given right. Fortunately, we still have the Second Amendment, for now.
Censorship Doctrine doesn’t work because the bill would not censor liberal shows..only conservative shows.

You mean starting with the whole David Koresh/Waco debacle all the way through the Clinton pardons? That all spans 8 years..... quite a subversion of liberty there.....
