Mr. Bill was given to me by my fiance about 20 years ago. He's a black/grey tiger shorthair with a healthy weight of 12 pounds.
The past week was very bad for him and so I will take him to the vet this evening and say good-bye.
He was the first cat my wife and I shared together and he's been with us during out whole marriage. He lived a long and healthy life until the past month where things steadily went downhill, accelerating rapidly the past week.
He was named after the SNL character of old. Seemed I was always saying "Oh no, Mr. Bill!!!"
Goodbye Mr. Bill.
Thanks,
Jay
Twenty years of laps, meals and love. That’s a helluva run. I understand your loss.
Our pets are so dear to us. My thoughts are with you during this sad time.
You folks and Mr. Bill have been blessed with a long, happy relationship.
I am very sorry for your loss.
Molly (and all my kitty friends)
Pets are great and it is hard to let them go. Take care.
Sorry about your cat. I just had my dog put to sleep an hour ago. 12 year old white Siberian husky. He was suffering too! Godspeed Mr. Bill and Boo!
my feline buddy Timmy says best wished and GoodBye Mr Bill and congrats on a long life!
Mr. Bill was lucky to have you. :)
Thinking of you at this difficult time.
My deepest condolences. 20 years is a good, long life. You have been very blessed. My beloved cat died at 15 1/2. It’s never long enough. I’m so sorry. God bless you and your wife.
My b;lck and white tuxedo kitty is rolling all over my computer desk right now. I think she says goodbye.
God bless, Jay. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. I’m sure Mr. Bill was a cherished part of your life. All the best.
You had a great life with him. 20 years is such a lifetime for a kitty, and he was lucky to have you as his partner.
I had to do this about 5 years ago, I still cry when I think of my Jonathon.
Takes awhile but I still cry. Now I am crying.
She's helping me type too.
Wow...sorry to hear of your loss.
As a life long pet owner, I can sympathize with you. We like to think that all the love, affection, and companionship we get from them, doesn’t come with a price, but it does. Having to let them go, is the painful price. So sorry.
