that is a picture of a landing, not take-off. that is why the front wheel is not spinning. also, other posters have said open canopy in that situation is normal. in case of ejection, the canopy will be out of the way.

Note that in the first picture, the aircraft is still in the air; in the second it has already landed. The bit about the ejection seat was speculation on the part of the other poster, which I am unable to confirm.
