Top Gun vs. UFO

Locked on ... Sabre jet had UFO in sights

A FORMER Top Gun told yesterday how he was ordered to shoot down a massive UFO — over NORWICH.

RAF controllers told US pilot Milton Torres to “lock on” and launch all 24 of his rockets over the city.

Tale ... Milton Torres as a young man, and today

But as he came within seconds of firing at the alien intruder — “the size of an aircraft carrier” on his radar — it vanished at 10,000mph.

The amazing close encounter is revealed in secret Ministry of Defence X-Files which are declassified today.

Milton said: “It was some kind of alien snooping over England. I guess we’ll never know what it was.”

The incident happened in 1957 when Milton was a 26-year-old US Air Force lieutenant based at RAF Manston in Kent.

At 11pm one night he was ordered to scramble in his F-86D Sabre fighter to attack a “bogey” hovering above Norfolk.

Speaking about it publicly for the first time, he said: “I was told I would be firing a complete salvo, all 24 rockets. I was pumped up — this was the sort of thing that happened before a war.”

He got the UFO on his radar and closed for the attack at the Sabre’s top speed of almost 700mph — then it disappeared off his screen in a flash.

Milton, now 77, said: “I was smoking, as fast as I could go. This thing had a different propulsion system. It was not an airplane.”

The flyer said he was visited afterwards by a sinister security official and warned not to tell anyone — so he kept silent until now.

The close encounter is in 19 files made available online yesterday by the National Archives.

The interception radar (from Hughes Aircraft Co.) and associated fire-control computed the target’s position, guided the aircraft on an intercept course to within 500 yards of the target, lowered the retractable tray of 24 rockets, and fired the rockets automatically. The effect of these weapons would have been devastating to an enemy bomber because each 2.75-inch Mighty Mouse folding fin aircraft rocket (FFAR) contained the power of a 75mm artillery shell.

Stanton Friedman has humorously and quite scientifically shredded the Drake equation. I think his doc doing so is on his website.

INDEED.

I loved it that the FAA DIRECTOR for the area walked away with the Radar tape . . . still has it, IIRC.

A sensible post!

On a UFO thread!

No surprise that Cvengr is behind it.

Perceptive Biblical understanding is common with you!

There is that alright!

LOL.

Though I’m sure some idiot will claim that swamp gas or starlings can go that fast . . . maybe in an alternate reality or matrix or some such.

Based on the fact that wormhole traveling space monsters don't exist.

Amazing how our government which can't do anything correctly has kept the super secret so well and has managed to swoop in to collect every piece of evidence for space monsters within minutes of the landings for the last 70 years.

My error then.

Thanks for the correction.

I’ve gotten increasingly punchy over such issues. And with less patience, it seems.

Sigh.

Though I don’t think most naysayers deserve less punchiness and less patience.

It is ... it looks like a photoshop job. Possibly even a photoshop of a plastic model.

...

Why use such an obvious fabrication?

I believe you've picked it. Thing is: it's a plastic model of a real flying plane

So, how many folks who’ve worked around the UFO’s have you talked to?

How many internationally known researchers from 3 continents have you talked to?

How many 10’s of thousands of documents, pages have you read since 1962 about the topic?

How many relatives have you had working around the UFO technologies?

How long have you considered your construction on reality the reigning supreme one?

Is that akin to the gas being distributed on this thread?

This is what turned up in a Google search:

http://www.v-j-enterprises.com/sfufovsseti.html

11. Why do SS focus on the Drake Equation which supposedly tells how many inhabited planets there are capable of sending radio signals? There is no evidence to support the many assumptions that are made and it takes no account of the processes most important for the distribution of intelligent life on Earth, namely migration and colonization. We have data on one planet in one solar system at the present time. We don’t even know how many civilizations there may have been here on earth 10 million or 200 million years ago. Heinrich Schliemann had to dig down 75 feet to find Troy dating from just a few thousand years ago. How much of earth has been explored that deep, no less the much greater depth that would be needed to tell us about civilizations that were lost due to asteroid collisions or nuclear wars or continental drift since hundreds of millions of years ago? One might just as well throw a dart at a dart board with numbers on it.

http://www.v-j-enterprises.com/sf-ufo-why3.html

7. WHY do you say SETI stands for Silly Effort to Investigate?

...Look carefully at the Drake Equation, their Holy Grail. We have no way to determine the lifetime of a civilization, or the fraction of planets that have intelligent life or that develop technology. We have data on one “civilization” on one planet in one solar system. Real scientists don’t extrapolate or interpolate from one data point. The SETI people omit colonization and migration which could greatly lengthen the life span of a civilization. That is pseudoscience, no matter how many degreed professionals are involved. Admittedly, their job security is dependent on nobody coming here.
