Yeah, the UFO threads bring out all kinds of arrogant reductionist intellectual haughty prissiness. Quite fascinating, though annoying.

The only major theme I’ve been able to deduce is chronic insecurity triggering derision so that the naysayer feels more competent and !!!!IN CONTROL!!!!

Anyway—I don’t know that we have sufficient solid info to say flat-footedly much of anything about the issue. So, of course, I had to write from my informed opinion.

Your hypothesis is as reasonable, probably, as a list of them.

It just doesn’t fit my intuition about it all. Doesn’t fit my sense of God’s priorities and ways of doing things that He’d allow that.

Another reason would be that ALL THE REASONABLE EVIDENCE CASTS !!!THIS!!! ERA AS THE BIBLICAL END TIMES.

That means a whole bunch of stuff plays out in this era landing us (before all those who were alive when Israel became a nation again in 1948 have died) in the 1,000 years of Christ’s perfect Peace followed by a short testing of humans at the end of that by a brief release of satan.

THEN THE CHARACTER IS LOCKED UP FOREVER. No pollution, as far as I can discern, of Creation by sin ever again. So there would not be any PROBLEM in the future for such ‘ET’s’ to come back and fix.

Interesting conjectures, anyway.
