I disagree. I wear holes in mine, or they become too used, they're gone. I walk about 15 miles a day at work, and if my feet hurt, it's a b*tch to do my job.

Men do not throw socks away. I seem to be married to an exception. The man throws away ANYTHING that has a hole or seems to be in poor physical shape.
This wouldn't bother me except he doesn't usually tell me that he just threw away most of my socks and underpants. I usually realize this while standing naked in a towel thinking, "Didn't we just do laundry? Where the heck is my underwear?"
