My brother had an X700. He's part of the reason I shelled out the bucks for that 7000. That body and a 70-210 and a 28-135 was a lot of dough then. Oh, got the battery grip and a shuuter release cord and a tripod. Was raring to pay for a lot of trashed shots.
Now this SX100 will do all that the Minolta would, except for bracketing. But some "hackers" have figured out how to get a lot of extra features from later Canon cameras. For some reason I can't make a memory card bootable. One of these days....
Why bootable?
