The events of just one day can change a political campaign. - I think the polls are generally a crock, and some are manipulated to the advantage of the Democrats in order to attract those who always want to be “on the winning side”.
The only problem with this is that if Obama wins this will be pretty close to impossible to do. Obama, with what will probably be a pretty heavily controlled dem Senate and House, will bring back the "Fairness" Doctrine and take steps to regulate political speech on the internet, leaving the MSM free to act as a dem socialist mouthpiece with even less opposition then they have now. What we are witnessing is an attempted political, cultural, and societal Socialist Coup in this nation with the results of this election determining if said coup will succeed. If it does succeed, if the socialists win next month, then I fear that the damage done to this country will be so great that any attempted redemption will take decades to accomplish, if it can be accomplished at all.
I have some ideas that we can discuss. I will talk to you or e-mail you this week.

If you want to ignore everything the media reports, so be it. Sounds kinda paranoid to me. Singling out some FReepers for not be excited about a poorly run campaign by John McCain, in of itself, is pure whining. If you want to ignore the polls, have at it. I guarantee you, the McCain campaign isn’t ignoring the polls.

Amen. There are MANY ways to fight - and FR is a resource showing some of those ways.
One way for Christians in the fight to “wage war” is in prayer.
Christians (huge minority) in India practice concerted, united prayer and turned what looked like, even up to the DAY of their elections, like s total trumph for the Anti-Christians in India.
God intervened and the anti-God, anti-Christ forces LOST.
So it will be in this country IF all those who call themselves Christians get serious in prayer.

of course, we must WORK, volunteer, talk to others, be poll watchers, give $, give informative flyers wherever you can - doctor’s offices, hair/nail salons, barbershops, any small business, grocery stores, GET OUT and GET BUSY -

What facts? Are you referring to the polls that showed Kerry winning? Are you referring to the polls that showed Gore wining?
What's that line "If you tell a falsehood enough times people will start to believe it"? That's what's going on here.
If you believe all is lost go buy another bottle of peroxide and watch another hour of Oprah. Why bother to post unless you have another motive?
It is obvious that they do have differences over how to campaign, and correspondingly are each campaigning differently.
