I’m glad to hear your Mall Movie was sold out. We live in the South Asheville area, and yes there are many libs-the ones I know are retirees who bring their liberalness with them to Asheville. Last night we went to see An American Carol which we enjoyed. The theatre on a Saturday night at 8:00pm was one third filled; there seemed to be a variety of ages and mostly couples. At the end of the film, there was clapping, softly done but extended , a very unusual thing to happen. It was great to see such a movie making fun of liberal think with concrete examples.
Cordio
There was a mix of ages, many couples but men and women coming together without spouses. Age was mostly early forties to seventies as it was during the "twilight" hour when many younger folk are not into saving money at the movies. The crowd waiting to come in were more broad in age group.
As we filed out laughing and chatting with one another (former strangers but now fellow conservative friends) the others asked if we "enjoyed the movie."
The resounding answer was YES!!!
The part of town surrounding the theater is quite upper middle class and higher. One sees lots of Obama yard signs but I figure that these are the "guilty rich white folk (I am white but NOT guilty over the sin of slavery as 6 - 7 of my great grandfathers fought for the North to free slaves) who desire to be "patriotic by voting to tax people more" as the miserly Joe Biden states, though he himself has no charity within him - maybe no patriotism either.
