**Sounds like you had good growing up experienceson the farm.**
I loved growing up on the farm, wouldn’t trade it for anything! Horses are a lot of WORK! Kind of like a garden—you don’t do it because you’re saving money but because you love it and can’t do any less.
Can’t watch rescue shows—they break my heart.
I could never work at a prison—I hate to even put my dogs in a kennel, whether it’s the single size ones inside or the big outdoor one. Of course they know it and act like I’m killing them! Give the major guilt trip and make me feel like a heel! It’s like leaving a kid at day care—as soon as you’re out of sight, they’re fine!
I wouldn’t watch for months after one episode upset me so..I am glad to see there are people working hard to rescue the abused and starving animals.
My daughter does rescues because they show up at her door..My adult cat and the two kittens all showed up at my daughter’s starving and worm riden, one with a near fatal repiratory infection.
My adult cat is adjusting to the kittens..with some grooming licks ..and some swatting and hissing, too.
They all”hang out” together.I notice she is playing more now that she has the kittens to watch.
I am definitely laughing out loud more.
