When I was a kid, I used to love a bologna sandwich with mustard, on real soft white bread. So, a month ago, I bought a loaf of Wonder Bread, and a pkg. of bologna. I could hardly wait to bring back the ‘tastes of childhood.’

Was I ever in for a surprise. The bologna was like a sponge, and almost melted on my tongue like meringue before I spit it out. What ever happened to the solid bologna from a ‘hundred’ years ago?

I still love balogna. I buy Oscar Meyer ‘all beef balogna’ and personally, I think its delicious. I don’t buy it often as I don’t think its that good for you. Have you ever fried it? I love it fried, crispy, even if it has a little black on it.....I’m weird, I guess.

Leaving for a while.....BBL!

It ain’t O-S-C-A-R M-E-Y-E-R for sure! LOL

Have you tried using the lard from the grocery store? It’s the consistency of watery tapioca, and looks like it. Yuck!

It no more resembles the lard we used to use than the bologna now compares to tehn.
