Wow! I think I've been there, but know all the Central Coast beaches are beautiful! You will all enjoy the time there: a great getaway for inlanders:-).
Avila Beach doesn’t have many restaurants but it is not far from Pismo.
We always stay at the Lighthouse Suites; the suites are large enough for four of us (my son goes with us to do the driving). Also, it is right on the beach.
If hubby and son want to play golf or visit wineries, Marissa and I can stay at our room and walk across a parking lot to the beach. The beach is very clean.
