Good Morning To Amy's Place
Late autumn: walking in the wilds - Poem
Literary Review, Spring, 2002 by Kuan Hsiu
Translated from the Chinese by J. P. Seaton
Walk idle,
no knowing how far.
Wind sighing
leaves leaving
the trees.
It was lust for a poem
flung me over my doorstep.
Now river's reflections run
wild on my robe
. North of the pavilion
a line of geese goes.
West toward the rose of sunset
rain clouds wander.
Mountains of gold in this Autumn:
What better a place to go begging alms?
