It would be hard to pick which one of those ladies did the best version since I like both of them.

Elvis had a version too and while I do love Elvis, he was giggling in his version...
Your tagline had it right on the grits....who wants runny grits?

They are all smart, only they don’t pull for the Vols! We will have a new coach next year...Vols aren’t doing like they should. I heard where they are going to let Fulmer retire, instead of firing him. Its all the same as far as I’m concerned. He will still get the money in his contract.

CHEESE GRITS CASSEROLE
4 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1 c. grits
1 stick butter
8 oz. pkg. Velveeta cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 or 3 drops Tabasco sauce
2 eggs
Milk
Cook grits in water with salt. Remove from heat. Add butter, cheese, garlic and Tabasco. Put eggs in cup and beat. Add milk to eggs to make 1 cup and beat well. Add to grits mixture. Bake in greased 2 quart casserole at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 6.
I love this recipe - the grits can be cut in squares, and served as appetizers, as a carb side dish, and it’s good hot or cold.

Happy Saturday, Yorkie.
Love your Betty Boop and the sweet sentiments.
Hope you are enjoying your Saturday.
After feeling listless and exhausted yesterday, I'm taking it easy again today.
Have a wonderful day.

Sound like a great recipe! Those casseroles are popular for brunches, etc. I hear. Lots of folks hate grits and I don’t know if they’ve tried them or just have their minds made up that they don’t like them.

LOL That place is big enough for me and several ghosts! We’d never even know the other was there. OTOH, as good looking as he is...
He can be my cabana boy! Any day!

Amy, I did not get back to you on the kitty peeking through the blinds, to let you know I appreciate(d) it so:-).
I can’t believe how far back I had to go in pings and it was only posted two days ago!!
It is very, very smoggy in L.A. today (and yesterday), rather uncomfortable to breathe so staying indoors as much as possible.

I think many have their ideas about grits gleaned from some watery. tasteless mess dunked on their breakfast order plate..
I love cheese grits..This one looks like a winner.
