Thank you, gardengirl!
I am going to need your advice on a potted rose queen hibiscus overwintering..We have many mild winter days..I don’t know whether to let it stay out on the patio and cover it with freeze cloth when needed or place it in the garage.

You need to know whether it’s an annual or a perennial. :) If it’s annual, you can let it stay out, but it won’t tolerate a freeze. We have some perennial hibiscus here at the garden center. They got evicted from the greenhouse wehn we ran out of room this spring. Temp dropped into the mid 20’s and they were ok—lost their leaves, but bounced back.

Did a quick google—looks like it’s a tropical. Definitely no freezes.
