I am sick to death of seeing ads for Hussein whenever I go on the web. For instance, I just went to foxbusiness.com and there were two ads for the socialist.
I guess they're sponsored by either the Messiah's campaign or the Democrat party.
If I click on them, does that mean they pay Fox? I have no intention of supporting this jerk or "registering to vote"...I wonder though if this would help drain their monies.
Anyone know how web advertising works?
I’ve heard it’s a quarter. Anyone else know?
Someone has to know this.
If it works, maybe we could organize a freep on one particular ad on one particular site. If Fox gets the money, we sure wouldn’t want to do it on a MSM site.
If all Freepers do this, that would be cool. We can help drain his account!

Probably depends on the site. If it is Google, it is pay per click. If it is Fox Business, I am not sure, but in many cases they are paying for exclusive spots or per impression (page load). I see them on Facebook all the time. Not sure how they structure their advertising.
In my eye, this is a minor league denial of service attack. If you want to be like that punk from Tennesee, go ahead, but this Freeper says it’s unethical. Your Dem roots are showing.
I’ve heard that if, after you click on it, you then hit the “Back” button twice, you will get 50 cents back! Cool!
You weren’t in The Corps, were ya?
The son of the Democrat state senator from TN stole a password from private email. Not the same at all. Nor is it denial of service. It is simply acknowledging that we see the ad on the news site, when many/most ads are revenue generating for the host site (e.g. Drudge, FOX News).
Do it from Google, the cost per add can be quite high. My firm advertises throug Google and pays $40 a hit. I’ll bet the big 0 is quite a bit less, but I would not doubt they pay in the $2 - $3 range for their adds.
I click regardless.
I can speak to the Google Ads because I have them on my site.
Yes, Obama’s campaign has to pony up a fee for each click.
I get a piece and Google gets a piece.
?? If I click on an ad to make Obama pay it is “denial of service”?? You gotta be kidding me.
The image ads only cost him on a cost per thousand impressions basis. Seeing his ad only costs him somewhere in the range of $6-$20 per 1,000 views. You can sit and refresh the page all day and it won’t cost him much.
The ads that cost a lot more are the Google search ads. Just go over to Google.com and type in phrases like “Barack Obama Muslim” and then click on the links. Those cost at minimum a dime a shot but can run 25-50 cents or more depending on the phrase. A straight Obama search will probably cost him more because there is much more competition for the keyword among his campaign, souvenir sellers and “527s.”
I’d rather ignore it than freep polls, but that’s just me and my ethics.

I haven’t done web advertising in a LONG LONG TIME now, but the two dominant models when I did were CPC (Cost per Click, the client paid per click through) or CPM (cost per thousand impressions, sight got paid $X for proving 1,000 folks had seen the ad regardless of click through) The trend was toward more CPC advertising when I stopped really being involved with it.
bmflr? can u translate?
