Perhaps instead of using military combat rules you brush up on civilian laws. If a liquored up mob is smashing windows and turning over cars, I’m calling the police and the rifle with the scope is staying in the rifle case.
You can only use deadly force in Texas in the defense of yourself and others against death or serious bodily harm.
We do have FReepers who are saying they intend to stay put to defend their property. I seem to recall the cops pulling out of the LA riots, saying the problem was more than they could handle.
So when there is no cops that will respond and you’re there watching the crowd advance on you, do you leave the rifle with the scope in the rifle case or do you get your range card and burn some ammo?
“...Im calling the police and the rifle with the scope is staying in the rifle case.”
That only works if the cops show up in time.
In my area they may not get here before that mob crosses the last 100 yards.
