My mom told us several times. Don't do the that you'll set the house on fire! Well when the house DID catch fire guess who caused it. MOM's cleaning was what caused the house to catch on fire. The carpets were shampooed and a table and lamp were put on a chair. They were eating dinner at Sambo's Frayed lamp cord , Thanksgiving and Christmas in a hotel.
This is why I never clean house and also why I am moving again. This place is a mess!

Had an almost similar situation when a frayed vacuum cleaner cord caught fire. But I altered my mother in time...
