I get to go to Ramona this weekend twice! Ramona is where the hicks lived when I was in high school, we were proudly in the boonies. We had four stop lights and a plastic horse. No stop lights in Ramona then. They are closer to San Ysable and Dudley’s Bakery. You always stopped at Dudley’s when going to the mountains. Julian is up that way. They have four seasons there. Apple pie and old gold mines abound. Just pass Julian is the church camp I went to while in school. It was near Lake Cuyamaca and was burnt in the fires in Cedar fire in 2003. The state park has reopened in 2005. I don’t think I have gone beyond Cuyamaca on sr79. Soo I guess in need to get back to work then.
