I’ve been witnessing your travails.

I have also been appreciating your keeping a healthy distance with them.

When you’re healthy and non-infectious, I’ll be happy to buy you another beer. Maybe it’s something to live for.

I guess the other side of the continent is a safe distance.

But to tell the truth, another beer doesn't sound good right now. The crowd I travel with (seems that way, we've been showing up at the same events this fall and some of them will be in Las Vegas next week) likes beer, and it's usually fun to have one or two with them. But the onset of this thing coincided with the beer and the two have become inextricably linked in my mind. (I rarely have a beer when home.)

I don’t like beer, myself. And I’ve had enought wine for now.

There’s a big exhibit of Spanish art at Duke University right now, and Anoreth and I want to see it. (She doing crappy in Spanish class, but she has a Spanish soul.) I just emailed my Hispanic Ministry coordinator to see if she wants to go with us. It’s about at 2-1/2 hour drive; we’d pay her admission fees and buy her a meal; and we might be able to meet FReepers for late lunch.
