“1:00 p.m. - New York Giants (1-0) @ St. Louis Rams (0-1) [Line: New York Giants by 8]

The defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants dominated the Washington Redskins last week, 16-7. WR Plaxico Burress had ten receptions for 133 yards, and RB Brandon Jacobs rushed for 116 yards on 21 carries. (If I played fantasy football, I would want those two on my team.) The Rams looked awful in Week One, losing to the Eagles 38-3. It was simply an all-around beat down. I honestly can’t find anything positive to say about their performance.

RJ’s Pick: New York Giants by 21”

My St. Louis Rams are five gears in reverse right now. The Giants are physical and still building on last year’s momentum.

You don’t see many 21 point spreads in the NFL, but this one may actually be an understatement.

Don’t count the Pats out just yet. They are still the team to beat in their division. The Jets almost got beat by Miami last week. They sucked in the 4th quarter and were lucky they got that interception at the end. I say it’s the Pats by 7.
