Granted, I'm in Texas and we tend vote only Republican in my neck of the woods, but, I have noticed that a lot of women tend to become more conservative after marriage and having kids.

I will also report something I find awesome. As an older student in a college full of 18-22/23 year olds I am seeing that the new generation is no longer on board for "pro-choice". I took a Western Civ. class last semester that focused on WWII, as a sideline to the course we had to read a book called "Meditations of a Holocaust Traveler" by Gerald Markle ( I don't recommend it, it's written by a sociologist and you have to have an understanding of Social theory to get his points and there are much better books out there).

By the end of the semester 98% of the class did not see the differences in the arguments for the Final Solution and the arguments for abortion and agreed that abortion is America's holocaust.

Funny this question would be asked. I was walking in my neighborhood, which is located in a "trendy", inside-the-beltway area, loaded with chattering classes and Obama signs. It's a beautiful evening, and there are restaurants and shops, and we have a summer event which draws folks out.

Anyhow, every, single group of two or more women were discussing the Palin speech, and how they thought it was great. I had to keep checking my ears. Hmmmm...
