Kelly O’Donnell reported that, unbelievably, the McCain officials said there were technical problems with the teleprompter. The operator or something happened so that the pages were scrolling too fast, and words were being cut off of the pages.

SHE HAD TO IMPROVISE FOR THOSE MISSING WORDS ...... AND SHE WAS SO GOOD, IT NEVER SHOWED!!!

Missing words? I concur. I saw it with my own eyes and commented on it when cbs had the camera behind the podium. The right side of the last words in each line were cut off.

"Unbelievably , the McCain officials said the were technical problems with the teleprompter"

Heh, I'd bet it wasn't a "technical" problem. It was a "rat" problem.

I hope the McCain/Palin campaign have gone back over the previous elections, and familiarized themselves with all the dirty tricks from years past. I'd start with being absolutely sure, that the people hired to run teleprompters, lights, anything else, are, who they say they are, and not dem operatives.

Our side needs to be ready for anything.

That said- all the credit needs to go to VP Palin for delivering an amazing speech, in spite of "technical" difficulties. Way to go Sarah!
