FINALLY - someone comes along and skewers the sitting-duck Obamacrats - something like Reagan used to do.
I told you guys the set up was perfect, under promise, over deliver works every time.
Meanwhile, Keith Obamaman looks sad.
This is my sole post tonight. Sarah Palin is awesome. I am so glad that John McCain had the wisdom to bring this fine woman to the ticket in 2008. Sarah Palin hit a home run tonight. Sarah Palin is the next Vice President of the United States. She is the second to next President of the United States.
Several weeks ago when I first heard of Palin as a consideration, I found myself hoping McCain would pick her, mainly because she seemed to be a true-blue ("red" now right?) conservative. I still believe that and am not sure that this wasn't a good choice for McCain. Notwithstanding, I think people have valid points about her inexperience. I also agree with you on the unpopular but true fact, I believe, that by-and-large, always with exceptions like Margaret Thatcher, women were not created to be political leaders, but keepers of the home, raising up generations with strong, moral fiber. However, I also know many are in love with Romney, but I don't like Romney, and I don't trust him. Whatever short-term benefit this pick may have given McCain, the longer term ramifications would have been hurtful to our country with Romney likely the front runner in 2012 if McCain went only 4 years.
I'm predicting a McCain/Palin victory and I'm hoping its a landslide. I don't think America is ready for the brand of hateful socialism represented by the Abomination of Obananation DEMOniC-RATS. We'll take "No 'Bama is good 'Bama" to the bank.
Right about now, Obama and Biden probably feel like the dressed out moose.
Talk about a warm-up act!!!
