What Should Sarah Palin Say in Her Speech Tomorrow Night? (Vanity)

Posted on 09/02/2008 10:13:15 PM PDT by GOPinCa

Just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on what Sarah Palin should or will say tomorrow night. Does she go on the attack, does she take on each and every smear, does she ignore it. Does she make a side by side comparison to her resume and accomplishments compared to Obamas? Does she say that the media has attacked her daughters record more then it has Joe Bidens? Thoughts?

She should mention that after Hillary Clinton's treatment and her treatment at the hands of the media and the far left that there should be no doubt about what they really think about women, mothers, and privacy.

She should present herself as a tough leader with solutions to our national problems, and forget to mention that she is a woman. We have eyes.

I predict:

She isn't going to say anything that can be perceived as whining. She's going to be generally positive and forward-looking, and will probably contrast her effectiveness and optimism with her opponent's lack of achievement and negativity.

I think that she will talk about her life and the role it played in her developing her vision.

She goes positive all the way, and she can’t lose.

She won’t say it, so I’ll say it for her: all the lib Democrats in the media who are out to smear her can go to Hell.

What are you thinking - that she may be singing "I'm a Woman, Hear me Roar"?

I say stay the course and talk about what she has done while in Alaska as a governor and a mayor, what she has accomplished. I would also make fun of herself a little. Reagan diffused naysayers and critics by mocking himself and killed them with comedy.

Also, I would not give credence to any assaults on her, but go after those going after her family. You don’t piss off Mama Barracuda.

I think she should somehow fight back but needs to do it in a way to make it look to the American people how ridiculous the left is acting. Most Americans do not blog and don’t research beyond what they watch on television.

I think she needs to say something like this, “In the past 5 days, I have been called everything from a nazi sympathizer to a bad mother. Does sexism exist in politics? You better believe it. But I will not be defined by what other people say of me, I have my own voice, my own record, and these rumors and lies and smears only strengthen my resolve that the system is broken, that change is needed, and when John McCain and I win in November, we will shatter the status quo!

Be herself, talk about issues, leave the snow mobile racer stuff behind and mention where she stands on taxes and families and Reform and freedom.

Make the war personal, make taxes personal, make hope personal and in doing so, make her place in History the unsaid, we get she is a women, we want to know what she thinks about things.

That is after the 5 minutes worth of applause, I hope the Lady has a chance to speak, it will be thundering in MN tonight...it’s raining Palin...

Mention that no one is perfect, and for goodness sakes, do not respond to the attacks, that would be foolishness of the highest order.

That flame will die if you don’t feed it.

I think they should send Bristol out and tell ‘em all where to put it...in a nice, lady like, polite, way of course. LOL /humor

Really, I’d have Bristol’s Beau escort Bristol out (wearing a stylishly hip maternity dress, of course), then have Bristol introduce Gov. Palin. :O)

I’d bet a paycheck that she’d get a standing O.

I think Gov. Palin will smack a grand slam, I’m not in the least bit worried.
