I'm answering you because you're the first sane response. The kneejerk response is incredible. It doesn't matter if she does or does not have moral authority to do anything. There are women who hang on her every word.

I guess I'm just personally mad. So happy just a few short days ago and now all of this craziness. I can't even watch the Republican Convention in peace without some horrible liberal gloating about this woman. It's just sad.

I’m big on sanity and I think some will be restored after Sarah Palin’s convo speech.

I hang out on a ecommerce business forum and I’ve seen a lot of self employed moms come out of the closet for the McCain/Palin ticket this weekend and they are extremely incensed at the rabid leftist blogosphere.

I’m betting that Palin has not only thick skin but an equally strong internal sense of self.

I’ve been reading the AIP website because of the phony allegation regarding her membership and frankly even if she was a member I would find it unobjectionable. The AIP platform is attractive to most rural residents, ranchers, farmers of western states where federal control of vast tracts continually threaten our way of life. Looking into what they stand for just make us realize how similar we are to Alaskans on that issue.

All this free publicity for the AIP is probably the best thing that every happed to their movement. LOL!
