A recruiter a couple years ago wouldn’t let me re-enlist. Something about “You’re too old, Sailor.”
Well I can understand I guess. Billie posted the nicest graphic the other day about Gold Star Mothers. On the back of a couch, there was a sailor’s collar showing from his blues and a little dog had his head laying on it. I told Billie it reminded me of my hubby’s blues and that it seemed like only yesterday.
