Meg, thanks for giving us a little more insight as to what's going on with your daughter's situation after Ike. I hope they didn't lose a lot of food from the refrigerator & freezer. Know that's going to be a yucky job to take care of when they get power again and can start cleaning up.

Our thoughts and prayers continue for all the victims of Ike, and I realize that some have literally lost their homes, some have lost loved ones, as well as animals. It's heartbreaking. :(

I didn’t ask..They always have a full freezer.They did get water in the sunken living room..had to bail out several gallons.
There are others who are in far worse shape indeed..and mourning losses of family and friends, houses ..and pets.

This storm was so large. I caught up with the news yesterday and have yet to check today..The death toll may be larger as days go on.
Wondering about lonestar..I know she went to her brother’s in College Station..but no updates.
