Hi Finest Friends So sorry I've been AWOL... busy summer readjusting to life without dad and Rusty the dog.

"Ike" hit Ohio this weekend.... 70 mile per hour winds...we were without power and no water for 2 days...many more people still are out until maybe Saturday. Loved and have new found appreciation for my shower this morning LOL! This makes me appreciate how much our friends in the south go through sometimes every year.

Lori and Nan...Loved your pictures and story of the summer visit....Nan...you and Mr. WVNan are so cute!!!!

Anyway, it is ALWAYS good to see your name as the 'author' of a post - not just your name as a recipient!

I knew that Ohio had been hit hard by Ike - he just wasn't content to mess with Texas and Louisiana - had to make his presence known - quite RUDELY! - up your way, and Missouri and other neighbors on his way up from Texas. One of my favorite seasons of the year is the beginning of Fall, but hate that some of the worst weather also comes with it.

Good morning, dutchess. Glad you enjoyed the WV photo trip and my mom with her little Sissy girl.

We miss you around here, but we understand that you have busy life and we all just pop in when time permits. I haven't forgotten that I owe you mail, Sistah D. It's on my list of things to do. I am so lax about answering mail lately. :-(
