A Sunday Prayer 12

Dear Lord as I pray to you today
for help for all of us everywhere
to get through another day.
There are some in this world,
who need an extra blessing from you.
Their quality of life is not what it should be.
They are look on by some
as burden to our society.
They are pointed at with fingers,
by those showing little or no respect.
It is for these individuals that I want
you to give an extra blessing today.
Those among us who cannot
for whatever reason defend themselves.
Some have suffered terrible injuries
by either life or accident.
They need extra care from you
to see their lives through.
So as I finish this prayer
for Sunday my Lord.
Could you give them
a little extra of your time?
