Thank you, Lori, for the link and ,of course, for your prayers. I know your son and all who have companies in the area are anxious. Oil is up in the market in anticipation. Refineries are shutting down all along the coast. One third of all our gasoline is refined along the Texas coast.

I was at the store bright and early..Would you believe tropical storm winds may reach farther north than Dallas!..I needed batteries..They are warning us in the Waco area of power outages. tomorrow and perhaps Sunday..
I stocked up on food just in case my daughter and SIL come Sunday or Monday because they have no power..
It will not be funny if I ,too ,have no power.
I’m going to freeze everything possible ..just in case.
Fortunately the storm is still a Cat2 but already there is water rising , flooding ,in the coastal and beach areas from La. to Texas. Very early morning is when the storm actually hits the Houston area tomorrow. There are many who did not evacuate Galveston..and they are in real danger.
I could be spending time this weekend loitering in the grocery store..I know they must have backup generators to avoid losing so much food..and it will be cool..LOL
Of course if we have tropical storm winds my house may not be so hot after all..

OH Meg .... the news sounds awful. I keep hearing that people who have not evacuated could be in real trouble.
