Well, congrats! I have always felt that my son’s birthday is a day for ME to celebrate as much as it is for him. In fact, he says, “mom, now that I am grown up, it’s just another day”. I sure do take exception to THAT! It was the day a miracle happened in my life! :-)

Hey, I just got an e-mail from my son and he tells me that he has been helping to build a fence around a women's shelter. He didn't go into a lot of detail, but I am assuming that it is a community service project through work.

It's good for these IT desk jockey types to get out and do some manual labor for a good cause. I am a proud mom and just had to brag a bit. :-)
